The video link below demonstrates how the technology of RFID tags could be used to attach to trailers (that you have ownership of or control over) and store the RFID tag number against the trailer in ALMADS.
ALMADS would then pull the information up when the trailers go over the truck scale and the License / ID and Tare (if using) can be recalled without the use of manual key entries further reducing the element of human error.
