Regional IT developed ALMADS (Almond Management and Distribution System) which has now completed its fourth season with CCAGA. Changes relating to calculating Inshell were delivered prior to the season commencing. With the increased volumes again this year, ALMADS needed to perform at its best to service CCAGA in all four plants. It performed better than expected and continues to provide. Continued Development of a Web based production system called AMIS.
This system covers all aspects of the Almond Packing processes
(Inventory, Merchadising, Distribution and Quality Assurance)
The System is completely web based and can be accessed anywhere around the globe.
Developed a sytem to capture scale weights as well as information keyed directly into the scale terminal and passed in down to an Access database.
This system uses a combination device servers that broadcast the scale information over the local area network and our system to interpret the broadcasts and place them into the database.
Using this technology allows the Server of PC communicating with the Scale(s) to be physically located anywhere provided it has network connectivity.
