The following Australian Client Case Studies are designed to provide you with a picture of the recent projects Regional IT Software Development have been involved in. Listed below are many satisfied clients and a brief summary of the solutions we provided for their business.

Project: TransIT! Is a standalone Consignment Note and Invoicing System that also interfaces directly into MYOB Premier Accounting suites (as well as other accounting software). TransIT! has hundreds of con notes entered into it daily.
Customer specific pricing and location specific pricing can easily be assigned and configured onto con notes allowing many differing rates and prices for a singular item. TransIT! is an easy to negotiate system that makes the all of the invoicing process a stress-free experience.
Project: Developed a Consignment Note and Invoicing System that interfaces directly into MYOB Premier Accounting system. This system called "DES" has hundreds of con notes entered into it daily from three depots over the sate (Whyalla, Port Lincoln and Adelaide). All depots connect to the head office in Whyalla via the internet.
Customer specific pricing on items listed on con notes can be configured in DES allowing many differing rates that may be negotiated to be stored and seamlessly applied to an invoice once configured.
Invoices are generated out of DES either weekly or monthly and the summarized data is sent to MYOB for accounts monitoring.
Project: Developed a system that interfaces with the Council's ERP system to generate barcoded rate notices that are distributed to all rate payers of the council.
The rate notice data is saved to allow historical rate notices to reproduced.
The developed system is also configerable to allow data to be dynamically changed each quarter if required.
Project: Contact Database - Won a tender which involved creating a contact database for all employees, board members, water groups, organisations and distribution groups.
This system is shared amongst all NRM board office throughout the state and is accessed via terminal services hosted in Berri. This system was developed in MS Access and is distributed using the runtime version of Access so that version conflicts don’t exist and the end user doesn’t need access installed to run the system.
Project 1: GSQA (Global Supplier Quality Assurance System) - Created a windows based management reporting system that provides National and International Purchasing management with information about supplier performance.
This system provides reports and graphs relating to suppliers scores
based on early, late, under supplied or over supplied deliveries. GSQA
does this by interfacing with Electrolux’s existing in house manufacturing
and quality systems.
GSQA has been installed and used throughout all manufacturing divisions
in Australia.
Project 2: QARS (Quality Audit and Rework System) - Created a Quality Assurance system that captures the information found as a result of a Quality Audit or Reworks that are performed on finished goods.
It also captures information relating to parts and part assembly quality. This information is then reported on and graphed and is presented to management as a core Key Process Indicator (KPI) for each manufacturing division in Australia and New Zealand.

Project: Developed an Invoicing System that interfaces directly into MYOB Premier Accounting system. This system called "ICS" is used to generate invoices for products sold and send a summarized form of the invoices to MYOB.
Customer specific pricing on products listed on invoices can be configured in ICS allowing many differing rates that may be negotiated to be be stored and seamlessly applied to an invoice once configured.

Project: BELIM (Lab Information Management System) – Currently creating a system that tracks wine samples that are tested in the Berri Estates main lab.
BELIM interfaces with the AS400 system using OLE to extract data about a sample and the tests that are to be performed. The tests are also registered in BELIM and the results are recorded by either user entry or direct interface with the testing instrumentation (either by serial connection or file transfer). The method to which the test will use is also allocated and the stages are tracked whilst the test is performed. The test results are then sent to the AS400 through OLE interface at a polling interval.
Calibration, servicing and maintenance logs are also kept in BELIM. The test station technician is aware of any action due on the instrumentation by warnings that appear.

Project 1: LAMADS Phase 1 (Laragon Almond Management and Distribution System) - A system was developed to alleviate the human error element associated capturing bin weights after almonds have been hulled and cracked.
This system was creating using windows host application and communicated
to industrial terminals using Winsock and telnet technologies. The host
PC is also wired to the scales that weighed empty and full bins (using
serial communications).
Barcoded bin tags are also created using LAMADS which are used both
internally for traceability of Tared empty bins and by Laragon’s
customers who receive the full bins.
Project 2: LAMADS Phase 2 - This phase involved enhancing the existing LAMADS system to host a second terminal that captures deliveries from the grower (by truck).
It also captures where the delivery is stored (silo), the quality of the delivery, the variety and the origin (grower / block) of the delivery. Again, this terminal was installed (approximately 150m away from the host PC) using winsock and telnet technologies. Reports were generated that provide delivery details by grower / variety / process. Reports were also developed for delivery quality.
Project 3: LAMADS Phase 3 – This phase was developed to replace an end of season spreadsheet that summarises the almonds processed for the season by grower. Data is cumulated and sorted to then be exported to a newly created End of Season spreadsheet created by LAMADS. MS Excel is controlled using OLE technology hosted by LAMADS.
Project 4: LAMADS Phase 4 – Phase 4 involved creating an archiving / purging process for end of season. It also involves capturing Almond quality data captured from random sample tests, processing downtime and interruptions. This data was included in quality report which is sent to the growers.

Project: Developed a Stationery Cupboard web based system to allow exclusive customers to manage their stationery inventory levels. The system enables the customer to place orders based on shortages managed by the inventory levels stored. Inventory usage is monitored by scanning barcoded outbound items.
The system generates orders and invoices from the orders for Office National via a website.

Project 1: RITAPAYS (Renmark Irrigation Trust Payroll System) – Created a windows based Payroll system that replaced an existing DOS based Payroll system.
Most of the design was created similar to the existing DOS based system but has windows features. It also uses ecommerce to send pay summary data to the ATO. RITAPAYS has the ability to pay employees by pay scale / job type and apply leave, super, LSL, RDOs, and deduct Taxes where applicable.
Project 2: RITACCTS (Renmark Irrigation Trust Accounting System) – Currently creating RIT’s windows based accounting system to replace their existing DOS based system. Again, this system is designed around the functionality of the existing system but have the windows features. This system will also have the ability to be multi user over their existing network. This is due for completion by the end of 2009.
